#23 The end!

I must admit to feeling a little sad that this journey is at an end. I had no expectations on commencement of this training, but have really enjoyed the challenge of the unexpected. For me, with snailpace dial-up internet connection at home and a queue for the computer with post-grad family members, it has been a frustrating time trying to do what I could at home or squeeze time in between borrowers at the library. I've enjoyed looking at so many new things - amongst my favourites would be podcasts, youtube, booklists and many more. I hope to go back to these accounts in the future and hone my shaky skills. At least you kind of know whats there and it will be helpful to suggest to others to try some of these sites themselves. I strongly recommend having a go to anyone else out there. I'm 54 and not computer literate, but bit by bit 'having a go' has been great. I think the designers or inventors of this program should be congratulated on the incredible amount of work involved. Thank you from me.

#21 Audiobooks

This will be a very useful site to know about. I can think of occasions in the past where this area could have been used. Another site to go back and explore at leisure.

#21 Podcasts, Smodcasts!

As much as anything, this has been an education in searching the net, saving the URL and changing the language in the blog template area. Here goes!

#20 You too can YouTube

Just swept through the comedy section and spyed this one. Had a go at transporting the material from YouTube to my blog. It's amazing when it works!

#19

I had a look at a site called Ma.gnolia.com which looks like another huge time waster!(in the best possible way) This was listed in the Bookmarking section of the best of the best list of web based tools. I tried gardening in the enquiry and travelled to an interesting heritage tree site. This of course opened up loads of possiblities to explore, blog, email and share information.

Week 8 #18 Web-based apps

You could play all day with this site. It's one everyone would find useful. I will definitely come back to this one in the future.

#17 playing around with PB Wiki

Well, I've added my name to the CHRLC list - now there's two of us. I also added my vote to best animal (dog x2) and favourite pastime - gardening (sad really isn't it!) I need to get out more.....
